Architecture

Villa Horizon was conceived as a monumental horizontal gesture inscribed into the landscape. Defined by geometric clarity and compositional discipline, it establishes a strong presence along the horizon line, shaping its own place rather than adapting to it.

The client sought a residence offering spatial freedom, privacy, and calm — a house defined by clear structure and a direct relationship with the panoramic horizon.

THE IDEA
THE IDEA

The project explores the balance between mass and lightness. Architecture is treated as a controlled composition where proportion, sequence, and horizontality define spatial experience.

The project explores the balance between mass and lightness. Architecture is treated as a controlled composition where proportion, sequence, and horizontality define spatial experience.

The house is structured through a clear sectional division. The indoor swimming pool forms the compositional core and horizontal axis organizing circulation and the relationship between driveway and garden.

Concept +
Design Principles

A dual-volume composition — a grounded stone base and a suspended pavilion — creates tension between weight and transparency. The lower level integrates recreational functions, while the upper living pavilion opens toward panoramic views.

Interior +
Atmosphere

Interiors are conceived as calm, expansive environments shaped by light and proportion.

Long visual axes and spatial continuity reinforce the sense of balance and quietness.

The project is currently in development. Design decisions focus on material precision, structural integration of the indoor pool, and the relationship between architecture and landscape.

Under Construction +
Behind the Schenes

Current work includes structural coordination and span optimization within the elevated pavilion, ensuring sectional clarity and uninterrupted panoramic glazing.

Realization +
Final Effect

Villa Horizon is defined by the horizon itself — balancing solidity and openness, mass and transparency. Architecture operates as a disciplined spatial system rooted in clarity and intention.
